Why is the chassis squeaking?
The chassis of my 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer seems to squeak badly when the vehicle is rocked. It makes the noise especially when the brakes are pressed.

Are there certain points to grease or lube?

And, if so, where are the grease points located?

Thank you.

This squeaking may be the bushings that hold the shocks and / or the anti-sway bars in place.

This bushing squeak may be -- but honestly may not be -- eliminated by a spray lubricant specifically made for this condition. Check with someone experienced who has used a specific product before using any lubricant on these parts.

If used, use only a minimal amount of lubricant.

Too much lubricant or the incorrect lubricant can cause the bushings to slip from their mountings.
