How do I turn the daytime driving lights off while car is on?

Most vehicles that have this feature are programmed or hard wired to activate the daytime running lights anytime the engine is operating.

This is a safety feature and should not be overridden through computer programming changes or re-wiring.

Why do you want to turn them off? Is there a logical reason?
